  • 1 cup plant-based milk can use almond, soy, or oat milk
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • maple syrup or agave nectar for drizzling
  • fresh fruits bananas, berries
  • powdered sugar for garnish

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine plant-based milk, ground flaxseed, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Whisk until fully incorporated and let sit for 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. Preheat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Lightly grease with coconut oil or vegan butter.
  3. Dip thick slices of your favorite bread into the batter, soaking for 20-30 seconds on each side.
  4. Cook soaked bread in the hot skillet for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Serve warm and drizzle with maple syrup or agave nectar, and top with fresh fruits and powdered sugar.
