Method
 

Batter Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.

  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sour cream, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Fold the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-28 minutes.
  6. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack for about 30-40 minutes.
Frosting Preparation
  1. Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and mix in powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Once the bars are cool, spread the frosting generously over the top.
