  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper or cayenne pepper
For the Dough
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or homemade biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted optional flavored oils can be used
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped or chives, cilantro

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shrimp, crab meat, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir well.
  3. Open the refrigerated biscuit dough and separate each biscuit.
  4. Flatten each biscuit to about 1/4 inch thick using a rolling pin.
  5. Take a generous scoop of filling and place it on one half of each biscuit. Fold the other half over the filling.
  6. Pinch the edges of the folded biscuit together firmly to seal.
  7. Place the sealed biscuits on a lined baking sheet.
  8. Melt a tablespoon of butter and brush it over the tops of each biscuit.
  9. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
