Step-by-Step Instructions for Salted Honey Pie
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice-cold water until the dough comes together. Press into a 9-inch pie dish and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream and brown sugar, stirring until dissolved. Remove from heat to cool. In a separate bowl, whisk egg yolks and honey until smooth, then gradually add the cream mixture, whisking constantly.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour filling into the chilled pie crust and bake for about 40 minutes until set but slightly jiggly.
