Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.

- Heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil. Sauté chopped onions and minced garlic for about 5 minutes until translucent and fragrant.

- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, basil, sautéed onion and garlic, eggs, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.

- Transfer the meat mixture onto parchment paper and shape it into a rectangle, approximately 1 inch thick.

- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the center of the meatloaf rectangle, leaving a small border. Add optional fillings if desired.

- Using the parchment paper, roll the meatloaf tightly to enclose the filling, ensuring the seam is on the bottom.

- Set the rolled meatloaf seam-side down on the baking sheet and spoon marinara sauce generously over the top.

- Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).

- Let the meatloaf rest for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes
For the best results, avoid overmixing the meat mixture and always let the meatloaf rest after baking.
