- Start by filling a large saucepan with about 2 cups of water and add a generous pinch of salt. Bring the water to a rolling boil over high heat.
- Carefully add the fresh broccoli florets to the boiling water. Allow them to cook for 2-4 minutes until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.
- In the same saucepan, lower the heat to medium and add 3 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Return the drained broccoli to the pan and toss in the garlic butter mixture, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan over the broccoli and toss gently until the cheese begins to melt. Season with salt and pepper.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately for best flavor.
