Preparation Steps

  2. Incorporate Wet Ingredients: Add the sunflower seed butter and vanilla extract to the dry mixture.
  3. Shape the Mixture: Use your hands to knead the mixture and roll it into balls.
  4. Freeze for Firmness: Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and freeze the protein balls for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the Chocolate Coating: In a small saucepan, combine the dark chocolate and coconut oil, melt together over low heat.
  6. Dip the Protein Balls: Remove the frozen protein balls from the freezer, dip each ball into melted chocolate.
  7. Drizzle and Garnish: If desired, use the remaining melted chocolate to create a drizzle and sprinkle flaked sea salt.
  8. Chill to Set: Return the baking sheet to the fridge or freezer to allow the chocolate coating to solidify completely.
