Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, finely diced onion, and breadcrumbs. Pour milk over breadcrumbs to soak.
  3. Add lightly beaten eggs, salt, and ground pepper to the mixture, and gently mix using hands until just combined.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf approximately 9-10 inches long and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread glaze over the shaped meatloaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-70 minutes, checking for an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  7. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
