Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the medium shrimp with ½ tablespoon of olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat the shrimp evenly. Let it marinate for 10 minutes at room temperature.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter along with the remaining olive oil over medium heat. Allow the butter to melt without browning.
  3. Add the marinated shrimp with their juices and a few lemon slices into the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp turn opaque and slightly firm.
  4. Remove skillet from heat. Serve the shrimp immediately garnished with freshly chopped parsley and additional lemon slices if desired.
