- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
- In a large bowl, mash 3-4 very ripe bananas until smooth, then beat in ½ cup of room temperature butter.
- Add 1 cup of granulated sugar, 2 eggs, and 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract to the banana mixture and mix until combined.
- Gradually stir in the dry ingredient mixture and ½ cup of milk alternately until just combined.
- Combine ½ cup of cold, cubed butter with 1 cup of light brown sugar, 1 cup of flour, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon until crumbly.
- Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle half of the crumb mixture over it.
- Layer with the remaining batter and crumb topping, then bake for 45-55 minutes.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then prepare the cream cheese glaze.
- Drizzle the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cake and serve.
