Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic in olive oil until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef, cooking until brown and crumbled, roughly 8-10 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomato sauce and Italian seasoning, then let the sauce simmer on low for 15 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Stuff each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture using a teaspoon or piping bag.
  6. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Place the stuffed manicotti side by side in the dish.
  7. Pour the remaining meat sauce evenly over the top, ensuring each shell is covered.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 40-45 minutes. Remove the foil for the last 10 minutes to achieve a golden brown top.
