  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the sauce mix. If using honey or sugar, add it now. Stir gently for another 30 seconds.
  3. If the flavor is too intense, gradually add water to the mixture. Stir for about 15 seconds to incorporate.
  4. Mix in red pepper flakes or chili oil according to spice preference. Stir for about 15 seconds.
