  • 1 cup Salted Caramel Homemade is best.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Consider adding nutmeg.

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar Can substitute with coconut sugar.
For the Crust
  • 1 package Flaky Pie Crust Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1/2 cup Vegan Butter Coconut oil as alternative.
Optional Toppings
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream Dairy-free version optional.
  • 1 cup Whipped Coconut Cream Light finish.

Method
 

Prepare the Pie Crust
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Mix flour and vegan butter until crumbly, add cold water to form dough. Roll out and fit into the pie pan, prick with a fork, and pre-bake for 10 minutes.
Make the Filling
  1. Core and slice the Honeycrisp apples. Mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Drizzle half the salted caramel and mix well.
Assemble the Pie
  1. Pour the apple mixture into the cooled pie crust and drizzle the remaining salted caramel. Seal the edges and optionally cover with a lattice crust.
Bake the Pie
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 400°F (200°C) until golden brown and the filling is bubbly. Cover edges with foil if they brown too quickly.
Cool the Pie
  1. Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours before slicing.
