Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 10-inch bundt pan with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon with 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Set aside.
Cake Assembly
- In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup of butter and 2 cups of sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add 4 eggs one at a time, then stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together 3 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Gradually mix in alternating with 1 cup of milk.
- Pour half of the batter into the bundt pan, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and then top with remaining batter. Swirl the batter gently to create patterns.
Baking
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow to cool for 10-12 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack.
