For the Cream Base
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese Softened for easier mixing
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream For richer taste
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced, fresh is best
For Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper Freshly cracked is best
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg Adds warmth and complexity
Optional Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese For extra flavor
  • Fresh Herbs Chopped parsley or dill for garnish

Preparation Steps
  1. Start by rinsing fresh spinach under cold water, then remove any tough stems. Set spinach aside in a large bowl.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add prepared spinach to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until wilted.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and heavy cream, whisking until smooth. Pour over spinach and stir well.
  5. Add salt, black pepper, and nutmeg while stirring. Simmer on low heat for about 2-3 minutes until the cream thickens.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs, and serve warm.
