  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cans Kidney Beans drained and rinsed
  • 2 cans Diced Tomatoes or crushed tomatoes for a thicker consistency
  • 1 packet Chili Seasoning store-bought or homemade
Optional Extras
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers substitute with your favorite varieties
  • 2 cloves Garlic fresh or powdered

Preparation
  1. Finely chop the onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Drain and rinse the kidney beans under cold water.
  2. Gather all your ingredients onto a clean workspace.
Cooking
  1. If browning, cook ground beef with onions in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Transfer the beef and onions to the crockpot or add raw beef. Add the kidney beans, diced tomatoes, and chili seasoning.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, stir and serve with your favorite toppings.
