Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the bacon into halves and place it in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until slightly curled but undercooked. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Generously spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and arrange the brioche dinner rolls snugly within the dish.
  4. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut circles in the tops of each roll to create a small 'bowl' for the egg.
  5. Melt some butter and brush the inside of each roll.
  6. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese into each roll, followed by half a slice of bacon.
  7. Carefully crack an egg into each roll, taking care not to break the yolk.
  8. Sprinkle each egg with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  9. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, until the eggs are mostly set but slightly soft in the center.
  10. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped green onions over the top before serving warm.
