  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Using a pastry brush, coat the surface of the rolled-out pastry with beaten egg.
  4. Sprinkle freshly grated Parmesan, chopped rosemary, garlic powder, and salt evenly over the egg-washed pastry.
  5. Fold the pastry lengthwise and slice into strips about 1/2 inch wide.
  6. Twist each strip gently and place on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Optionally, sprinkle extra Parmesan or rosemary on the hot straws after baking.
