  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup/agave nectar for substitution
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine 2 cups of full-fat Greek yogurt, 1 cup of heavy cream, and 1 cup of whole milk. Whisk until smooth and well incorporated.
  2. Stir in 1/2 cup of honey until completely dissolved.
  3. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, stirring well.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour.
  5. Pour the chilled mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions for 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
  7. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy, optionally topping with fruits, honey, or nuts.
