- Heat cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped Thai chili peppers. Sauté for 3–5 minutes until the onion is translucent.
- Add cleaned shrimp to the pot, cooking for 2–3 minutes until bright orange and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same pot, add cut crab and sauté for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in water and add Knorr chicken cube, stirring until dissolved. Cover and bring to a gentle boil for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in tomato paste and banana ketchup, mixing thoroughly. Cook for an additional 2 minutes over medium heat.
- Return the cooked shrimp to the pot, followed by cut green onions. Cover and let simmer for 1–2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in a beaten egg to enrich sauce.
- Prepare a slurry with cornstarch and water. Add to the pot, stirring until sauce thickens, about 2–3 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and serve hot.
