Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- Layer half of the croissant pieces across the bottom of the greased baking dish followed by half of the mixed berries.
- Repeat layering with the remaining croissants and berries.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissant and berry layers and press down gently.
- Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes, dust with powdered sugar, and serve with warm maple syrup.
